The Florida Chapter of ASET is here to provide a venue for meeting and opportunity to work together as a team to influence public policy and advocate on behalf of the profession. Members are passionate about our field and growth of educational resources.

MEET THE BOARD

Jennifer Liston, R. EEG T.

President - Elect

Jennifer started her neurodiagnostic career in 2005. Soon after she joined ASET and furthered her ASET involvement by joining the Florida chapter board in 2020. She is the founder and CEO of Brainworks Diagnostic Services.

She is married, with 3 bonus children, and one grandson who has her wrapped around his fingers. Although she loves camping, boating, and exploring on her motorcycle, her true love is traveling. She can’t wait to get some new global trips planned!

Melissa Alley, B.S., CNIM

President

Melissa entered the field of IOM in 2015. Although she has mostly worked in the state of Florida, she has travelled to CO, NY, OH, TN, TX and a variety of other places to help out around her team. She has served various parts of the FL Chapter for the past 4 years.

Melissa is recently married, with one 4-legged child. In her free time she plays ice hockey, enjoys trivia games with friends, and gets lost in a good book. She still remains an avid member of Kappa Delta, most recently as Alum Chapter President, and serves as President on her HOA board!

Janet James, R. EEG T., CNCT, RNCST, FASET

Secretary/ Treasurer

Janet has been in the field since October of 1985. She has been a beloved member of ASET since day 1! She served 4 years with ASET in various positions (BOT, committees, ASET Foundation). She is very active in Continuing Education and has presented NCS workshops for several years.

Janet is married with 3 sons and 11 grandchildren to keep her busy. She is now semi-retired and does Crossfit training! She is an avid health and fitness advocate. For her next adventure, she plans on trying out bee-keeping!

Social Media Manager:

  • Help maintain the website with up to date information on local and national conferences.

  • Share information on social media pages to keep all updated

Membership Chair:

  • Help secretary/treasurer maintain membership list

  • Recruit others in the field to join

  • Relay membership concerns to the board
